A great venue, great service, great bash.
Thanks WATTY for all the organizing. This was a GREAT SUCCESFUL EC-BASH :thumleft:
Thanks to the hosts and staff at Nduna Lodge, for a fantastic weekend and entertaining us dawgs.

For me this was another really special weekend, being able to take my son DangerD with, each on our own bikes.
Now the pics.

A stop for refreshments. Lekker rooster-koek and Pine Apple juice.

One of the bush “tunnels”. These are very narrow twee-spoor paaitjies, made by the quads, and go through the most amazing bush sections on the reserve. This was a real treat for those enjoying “technical” riding, and was a great experience for all. On this particular section there was lekker modder to negotiate.

After the bash, on the way back to PE, we again did the “milk run” to Kinkelbos. Halfway DangerD was treated to a puncture. I found the culprit, being a small twisted piece of metal looking like a nail. SHIT !! We had spare tubes, but NO tyre weld, which would have worked well. I knew we would have hassles, with the 125NXR not having a centre stand, so we decided to ride back 500m to a farm house/ dairy farm and see if we could get a crate or something to support the bike whilst doing the change-of tube thing.

So we met Alister and his lovely wife that were most accommodating. When mentioning that “Tyre Weld” would do the trick, but that we don have, the “bells rang” and he dash off to find an OLD can, somewhere in the house. Out he came, with the MAGIC. If this stuff had an expiry date, then it was “ancient”!!!

Anyhow, we blasted the tyre full, emptying the can, and rode it around quickly. WORKED!!!!!

We bid our new friends farewell, with the promise of dropping off  a replacement can or two (for interest)
As we left the farm, at the farm gate we had to traverse a patch of cow dung slush. Danger D went through no problem. I tried turning in this KAK, and went straight down.  :imaposer: Anyone tried picking up an 1150 in a large patch of cow dung slush ??? Not easy, the bike just keeps on sliding away . Anyhow, I eventually got it up, and we were on our way again.

Got home no problem after that.

As usual, I just don’t take enough pics! Must really somehow learn the to take more shots etc.

WATTY. Thanks again for a great bash. :thumleft:

Bottom left - that's an interesting setup!

It the African Twin used by the Aussie couple that was invited to the bash after some dawgs met them at Boknes during an outride.

Here are some more detailed photos I took of the AT.  Perhaps someone else took better photos.  I know a few guys enquired about the mods and such ... info anyone?

Unfortunately not! We did had two individuals that made things a bit unpleasant in going on an unauthorised ride with a loud plastic and spooking the game, and not knowing when not to rev a motorbike at high revs and when to stop.   :'(

It is always a pity that the inconsideration and disrespect of other's feeling and the environment must be present at an otherwise perfect event.

Wow, it was my first time at a wild dogs bash, and i'll be at the next one too. Thanks Watty, great location and a great ride through the lodge.
