One of those "Wrong Turn" moments?

Sad to see, but glad we made the effort.

:3some:
Ek was so n tyd terug ook op Middelpos, ek kon saam ry.

.............. and that would be?

Thanks, lovely RR. Love the photos.  :ricky:

Good to see people still stop to "smell the roses".  :thumleft:

Respect to that Sym  :ricky:

Great RR,what makes it special is that not many riders would go two-up on a 200.That takes skill and patience. Not having the power available to get out of trouble on gravel would worry the hell out of me.You guys, going nowhere slowly, have had an epic trip.

This looks like a epic trip  :thumleft:

Thanks for taking the time to do the ride report and thank for the beautiful photo's.

Looking forward to see the rest.

Uitstekende verslag!

:ricky:
Ek wil saamry

Thank you for taking the trouble to post SO MANY really interesting pics. Such a good RR. Brilliant!

Riding away from Putsonderwater, we were amazed by the ingenuity of the Weavers.

We had a quick stop in Marydale. The decay of small towns is truly heartbreaking. You can see that no one takes any pride in the place they call home. Why are there so many children? What future could possibly be promised to them?

Say hello to our little friend - he was dead tired...

We made it safely to Prieska.

The Gecko Guesthouse was a lovely surprise. We basically had the whole place to our self. The host gave us free reign of the kitchen, dining room and lounge not always available to other guests. My wife's sister, husband and two young daughters joined us for an incredible Christmas lunch - they drove up from Augrabies as part of their holiday.

Thomas also had safe parking.

A local message...
