Had to Google Ofcolaco as it didn't sound local.
"Ofcolaco is a tiny village situated in the Limpopo province of South Africa that was named after the Officers Colonial Land Company and formed by demobilised British army officers after the First World War."
Hats off to you guys and esp. to 2SD for doing the whole trip from Skelmbos and back on his bike.
An understatement to say quite some terrain you covered.

I bitched and moaned about the 120km tar we had to do on day 2 of the trip [emoji15]Noneking said:Everybody was tired after a morning of challenging riding and after filling up at Ofcalaco for the umpteenth time, we spoiled ourselves with garage pies and Steri Stumpies

Indeed,much appreciated.BuRP said:This was an awesome trip!
Great group of guys, superbly entertaining banter, varied routes through stunning scenery, superb hospitality encountered everywhere, enough technical stuff mixed with dust or even tar liaisons to keep it varied on end, the weather played along well too, and the riding days were long enough to tire us out but not wear us out.
Some of the guys proved real characters too, always nice to meet a nickname and find out he's not what you thought, or not at all actually!
And Marc my bru, pity your trip was cut a bit short however I know that's an incentive to better fix that SE goooood, as I foresee more of this same in your neck of the woods... or desert
Thanks Canzius for putting this ride together, and thanks to all who looked after us, fed us well if not superb, and thanks to the riders - we should repeat this lot indeed as per discussed, I for one look forward already :thumleft:

So this filter fouled up quick, we even saw (a misnomer if you ask me...) some fesh-fesh at times, and the dustclouds were SO bad sometimes that I pulled the anchors, stopped even at times.
At Gerrit's place in Tzaneen I intended to wash & re-oil it quickly, but unfortunately he didn't have filteroil at hand - and as this is the only stuff I'll use I decided to carry on, after all it's an oiled foam filter from a reputable brand.
Below it shows what the out- & inside looked like after 5 riding days: clean inside still, and the airbox' inside was clean too of course :thumleft:
TwinAir wasn't the first brand of oiled foam filters for nothing it appears
In addition I noticed my clutch slipping a bit, albeit at 135+ km/h on tar when I gave it a bit more (of which there is plentyyy then!).... rather disconcerting actually, and this was on the first day! :-\
So I changed my riding to 'meeker' i.e less fun, less blipping (yes, I'm childish :) and the bike seemed happy enough.
As time went by I discovered that the clutch held during our 'normal' riding and didn't budge, also there where one had to blip it a bit to get through.
Yesterday I rode it in anger a bit to see if it would slip - and No, it didn't, so good for now.
But I bought a clutch-kit from [member=614]Runner[/member] in any case, and will put this lot in with some washers to up the springs a bit - so I can really enjoy this bike by also playing more, its character simply begging the rider to flog it more ;D
