My Kampeerplekkie vir die aand

Ons loop toevallig vir Roxenz ook daar raak, op toer per Landcruiser met sy familie.

Dan word dit aand en dit word koud

'n Klomp kuier fotos, soos die aand verloop

Sondagoggend kry ons koers Williston toe met die verveligste pad ooit!

Maar daar is een plekkie wat darem mooi is. Die plaas Heuningberg (ek dink) met sy natuurlike fontein

Ons eet by die Williston Mall. Daar brand 'n vuurtjie en ons raak amper op die sagte banke aan die slaap.

Vanoggend (Maandag) terug vanaf Sutherland na 'n lekker kuier met almal wat by die Withuis oorgeslaap het.

Pote vat die teerpad (hy moet werk toe) en ek en JC ry met die R356 Ceres toe en van daar af huistoe.

Lekker pad - lekker ry.

Ons stop by die Tankwa Selfhelp kafee vir 'n Koffie

My laaste foto. Ek neem sommer 'n paal af, ek dog dit Pote se paal, maar ry toe later by die ware ene verby.

Ten slotte - ek hou BAIE van hierdie 'mobile bash' idee - kuier elke dag op 'n ander plek met 'n klomp mense. Dit werk lekker

Dankie Hinksding en almal wat jou gehelp het. Ek is al heel aand lus vir die oorskiet van die reuse kerrie afval wat jy gemaak het.  :drif:

Hinksding jou yster! Jy mag maar organise. Dankie vir al die harde werk en moeite met al die reëlings. Die man het selfs Saterdag oggend half 5 die braaibroodjies gemaak  :thumleft: Bokwa sal ook maar 'n instelling moet word, hy is nou 'n ere-hond.

Nou nog meer spyt ek het die een gemis.
Daar kan nie veel Wille Honne oor wees wat Mapsource nog nie gehelp het met 'n pap band! Mooi man! Nadeel natuurlik dat niemand meer oefening kry met band regmaak en jy word 'n ware boffin! 
Louwtjie, bly om te sien jy het daai bok oorwin ! Ek aanvaar daar was nie veel oor vir biltong maak?
Ek sal maar foto's verder kyk en sit en kwyl...

There was one gate that I struggled to open because it was so low and dragged at the bottom , I think they try to prevent earthworms from crawling underneath that gate .  :laughing4:  

Unfortunately Carrol had another flat as she left the pan.

She had one in the pan and Weskus banged his thumb open as he tried to get the wheel off. I was nervous putting his plaster on as it looked very eina. I was scared I was going to hurt him more but he didn't blink. They make men tough in the Weskus  . :ricky:

Fortunately Carrol had Mapsource , Louwtjie and Fender Bender to help her . Mapsource took charge and they got sorted , Thanks guys .  :thumleft: :thumleft:

Ai en so dink ek Weskus het net plainweg gatvol geraak en toe maar gaan sit en kyk....

Friday to Loeriesfontein was a solo trip. It was cold and damp up to Cederberg Oasis.

I stopped on top of Gydo Pass for a last check-in with SWAMBO

On the planning thread someone mentioned something about the level of my fuel, I had that in mind when I left CT. I forgot that I went to Koringberg and back in the meantime. I went onto reserve just after the photo but made it to Op-die-berg with 1.5l to spare.

It drizzled at Op-die-berg and riding inside the low clouds at times

Gerrit always makes you feel welcome at Cederberg Oasis

Just for  YamaV and Hotsauce: I cruised through this time. It helps if the baggage is lighter, further forward and lower down

I tried buying coffee in Wupperthal but nobody offered to help me in the restaurant. I got a blank stare but no responce. weird.

Stopped for a snack on top of Botterkloof (I think)

After a lengthy coffee stop and chat at the Smidswinkel Restaurant in Nieuwoudtville it was still quite early so I stopped for lunch at the Kokerboom Woud (Quiver tree forest?)

The accommodation was basic but functional and clean

Next morning ritual

We stopped for Boerewors rolls and Coffee on the way to Verneukpan. This puppy received a lot of attention

This is the device they use to make the "crop circles" around the pan that are visible on Google Earth  (the one on the right, the other one is a tool used to make wheelies)

The landrover bunch left the site when Carrol arrived and revved her bike bloody bikers
After we did numerous dragraces on the pan Stoffel went to apologise, but they said no problem and that we must just enjoy ourselves. Nice people.
They came to use the ablution facilities the next morning and were all smiles

All in all an awesome trip with good company and spectacular scenery. Thanks again to everyone that contributed, especially Hinksding (and by extention his poor wife Elzaan) and Bokwa for all the hard work. The bar has been set.

Stoffeltjie, presies nes soveel van die ander honne reeds gesê het. Jy't glad nie k@k gereël nie en Bokwa kan maar enige anner tyd weer die verversings en agter-na-ry ding doen. Rynet, jy moet meer back-up in die toekoms. Ons like jou kiekies kwaai!

Ek, Louwtjie, Fenderbender en Ball & Chain het die pad Loeries toe so saam saam gedoen. Genoeg pitstoppe vir die rokers het gesorg dat ons darem ook genoeg tyd het om die dors weg te hou - die Noord Kaap raak mos vrek warm!
Kamera se battery het dit nie deur die naweek gemaak nie, maar hiers is so paar fodies.
