Just spoke to Charlie's wife in the hospital in Worcester. He is in ICU. Broken femur, but his bone marrow went into his bloodstream and now forming a blockkage in the lungs. They are trying to stabilize his breathing. Will keep you updates, but let us be positive.

This was what I was afraid of ,hope he does well, please keep me informed as to his recovery.Glad that shot I gave him took away some of his discomfort

well the shot must have helped then , as he was riding like the wind again the next evening , wonder what he was shot with :mwink:

ah, some amazing shots....Jacko manages to make even a bloody safaripakkie elegant....everyone looks extremely sober...amazed that you got so many out of the tent and onto a hill to wait for the sunset...that would never happen at the FS bash....so few woman? and can we have some shots of the food?
lovely terrain to ride ...thank you for sharing this.

Boerrie rolls, boerbulls & frosties at Middelpos Hotel

mini-IMG_5773.jpg

The vibrations on the road to Middelpos Hotel caused me to loose my left rear indicator

mini-IMG_5774.jpg

At the top of Ganagwa pass. The road from Middelpos managed to dislodge my rear taillight lens! Ok, maybe it was a combination of the hectic ruts & washaways, the old 600 thumper between my legs and some hard riding. :)
Anyone got another lens for me please?

My "muk 'n druk" trying in vain to capture the awesomeness. I think these are "need-to-be-there" moments.
