:thumleft:

Ek verneem dit was weereens 'n enorme sukses.  :3some:

Next time..... :p

Thank you Jupiter, it was a great weekend. My most magical moment was riding back to Jochimskraal late on Saturday night, and after closing the farm gate, realising a Kudu Bull and four Kudu females were standing just ahead of me, it must have been the bike's headlight that was masking me. I stood and watched for ages. It was the cherry on top of a lekker Bash.  :thumleft:

Highlight for me was the ride in, in the dark it was the most amazing feeling. There is something special about that ride I had never experienced before. I would recommend it if anyone ever got the chance (and not in a big group). Jup thanks for the bash and all that you do behind the scenes. To Chris and his helpers well done as good as ever.

you right a nite ride is great, we left last year straight after the prize giving .... :thumleft:

Some time ago my long suffering friend, Innis (Bullitt), bought my XT600, and would do his first gravel ride the weekend to the bash and back. He did very well.

1. Totally over excited he arrives at my place while the dassies are still sleeping.

2. First smoke break at the turn-off to Hankey. It promised to be a beautiful day and it was.

3. We meet up with Ian and his gang at the East gate. They have a different travelling style, and eventually only arrived at Doornkloof just before dark  :eek7:

4. The compulsary pic at the top of Combrinkdpass

So its my turn now

jason (knucklhead jr) and myself decided at around 19:00 on Friday evening that we needed a break and decided to pack our scoots, have a short sleep and leave at 04:00 in the morning from Uitenhage. As it was his first time out on a long drive we decided to take it easy and ride up to Willowmore via Steylerville to enter the baviaans from the north.

It was damn cold, measuring aroung 4.5deg at some times and came very close to a Kudu , that fortunately chose the fence direction than my direction. Anyway arrived around 10:30 ish, frozen solid to a lekker brekkie (especially kept  )

We kuierd through the day, me havin a power nap to rest my bones. After the prizegiving and chow, we kuierd a little and it was off to bed. We leaft again at 05:30ish to head home, afterall it was mothersday so we had deadlines  :deal:

anyway here my pics..

1. The fact that we are bikers does not mean we are uncivilized. Coffee at Smitskraal, after safely negotiating the crossing... well sort off, for the first time in many crossings, I put a foot down and got it wet.

2. A very happy camper arrives safely at Doornkloof and never stopped smiling the rest of the weekend  :thumleft:

For some reason I don't take many pics at the bash. Well, I do have a few things on my mind when there. My last pics... Camelman doing a chat on the Amageza and jorust with her Round Africa talk.

And that was it... an incident free bash with the worst the medics had to do was dispense some ENO'S  :imaposer: That's the way we like it and thanks again to you all for making it so.

See you next year, same time, same place  :thumleft:

Thanx Djoep, alls loop reg, altyd reg, Doornkloof.

:thumleft:

Het daai skilpad geindicate toe hy jou verby steek??  :spitcoffee:
