I decided to join the "last" Doringkloof Bash a bit late but all was good as there was enough space.
Tar to George and Montague Pass. Joined the tar going to Uniondale and then turned left on the Heimersrivierroad to later join the Buffeldrift road.
In Uniondale I asked at the garage if they have seen any bikes "all n hele ruk terug mr" and I guessed it could have been Snafu and kie. Rode
to Doringkloof and saw only three bikes on the way. Tony the Boney and friends.

Saturday was spent talking, some more talking and eating and then some more eating!!!

If the Lotto turns my way a 1190 would look good in my garage and for good measure a 690 too!!!
Sunday was packupday and a fine drizzle just caused me to hang out a wet tent the next day!!
Uniondale,De Rust,Oudtshoorn and Caltizdorp followed on tar and just before I fell asleep on the bike I turned off the R62 and rode over Rooiberg Pass and through to Van Wyksdorp. I actually rode so fast I nearly ended up in Ladysmith KZN!!! >:D
It was a great bash and as allways I have met new people and kuiered well with old friends.

My work will not be done until I get you to the bash one day  :xxbah:

I would have made it this year but I was away for a month , nearly pitched on Saturday but gave that a miss  ::)

Good people, good fun, lots of laughs and excellent routing with Andy 660 (The only oak with a Yamaha shirt), Martin (the only oak with 5 punctures and no pomp), Grant 650 (The only oak that left before the bash for mothers day) and Gavin (My tent and stuff is in KTM Kev's car)

After a quick jaunt through Grootrivierpoort on Thursday, Woody and I set off for the Bash. No rush and a leisurely brekfis at Tolbos first.

Planning for this trip started at last years Bash and we we going to, and did enjoy every moment of it

The must take pic at the top of Combrinck's pass just before you cross Bergplaas. Baviaans is ruffand the bikes reveled in it all the way. We also enjoyed the ride
