Shaun it's halfway between the Karoo Poort and the Tankwa Padstal. Its those two landmark koppies in the middle of nowhere.
Due to the specific harder slate stone formation the vegetation differ from that of the immediate surrounding and you very often find Biologists doing research there.

Na die Klondyke cherry farm as die pad oorgaan in 'n grondpad op die Bo-Swaarmoedpas na die Matroosberg afdraai.

Weet nie waar jy bly nie en kon ook geen afdraai in die mis sien nie. Ons is so 70km/u daar verby.

Kuifie was al by my huis! Ja die mis was maar dik gewees het oop getrek en weer toe getrek en eers later opgeklaar.

Looking @ that photo & comparing it to this map image....it sure does look like the same place. Would definitely like to stop there next time I pass that way.
