Ek het nog al die tyd K3's op my GSA gehad en nog nie 'n dag se kak gehad nie. Jy's baie gelukkig as jy 15k km's gekry het op 'n agterband. My beste was net so oor die 5k agter en 17k voor.

Omtrent wat ek op my eerste K3 rear gekry het, het hom saam met 'n Dunlop 606 voor geloop, hulle het saam klaar geraak maar die TT het seker die beste grip van alle voor tyres gehad.

Not a high speed rated tyre, there is the reason. My KLR sal hom nooit kan stress nie...

Did some grinding... shaped the plate, am going to make separate brackets, not happy with integrity of a bend in aluminium plate.

Hy doen... reken hy kan 4 kar tyres op top met een charge. Een van die goed wat moet krag kry van my USB panel wat ek maak.

Wat vir my nice is, is die feit dat hy preset tire pressures het. Jy stel hom en wag tot hy stop. Done

Figure nog uit hoe om die 4 presets te stel, maar jy kan ook 'n druk select en pomp. Hy wys ook wat die druk is waneer jy hom opsit.

Did some boring work today.
Clamped the plate between wood scrap to ensure smooth holes, finished drilling and mock up assembly for test fit tomorrow.
Nou moet ek eers gaan vleiswerk.

Tomorrow is strip the front end fairings and cowling, as there are a few things that need attending to this is no issue.
1. Speedo cable lube.
2. Fix some of the broken well nuts.
3. Polish out the scratch the Alfa gave my headlight protector.
4. Check wiring harness for abrasions.
5. Test fit panel, drill holes in brackets, test fit again, then sand and paint, install components, test on bench, final install and connect wiring to existing feed from battery.
Note to self, DISCONNECT BATTERY TOO.

Wednesday/Thursday - begin re assembly of front end tupperware. Test run!

The list stands over to tomorrow... The bottom dash fits!
Now give it the final Satin Black coat, assemble the brackets and plate, wire up and test.
Then we do the install and the to do list...
As suspected some of my hasty wiring of the running lights has come adrift as well as some of the LED lamps in the dash have failed, contacts vibrated off.

Perhaps you can consider mounting some rubber grommet to absorb excess vibrations?

Impressive mileage op daai thumper...
