Depending on what your reason is for visiting this place Hennie - As far as I am concerned - perfect for the person wanting to explore, and who is not concerned with speed or high tech suspension

Day 4 to Van Zyl's camp was the highlight of my trip as far as riding goes. The scenery could not really compare to what we saw on latter part of the trip, but the riding was simply superb. The terrain begged your to carry a bit of speed en the Husky rewarded every turn of the throttle with an exhilarating burst of just that. After the turnoff at Okangwati, the fun just never ended. Not even being stuck next to the track for an hour could dampen my spirits.

DAY 5- VAN ZYL'S CAMP TO MARBLE CAMP

Day 5 started out different to most others in that the technical riding started 5 m from the camp site in the riverbed after which we turned onto a rocky path which dumped us into the valley, on our way to the first serious steps. No time to warm up or gain a bit of confidence after the night's interrupted sleep. It certainly caught me by surprise as I'm sure it did the others as well.
