Wow what a trip & RR, doubt whether you will ever better that one, loved the pics, Canzius you have talent with a lens that's for sure. Sadly my days for this kind of riding are over.

Hardy you and your team have excelled with planning and organising all the details, we all know the nightmare of organising trips such as this, I sent this over to my nephew in Tasmania and hopefully he is considering coming over with a few pals to do this trip.

@ Ri, sorry to hear about your mishap, heal quickly and kudus to you for sharing your beloved DR and also taking on a challenging trip like this.

Thanks OD

It makes it a lot easier when you have a group of riders like the ones we had.

On our trip I had old but newly lubed Michelin High speed Mousses in my tyres and had no problems whatsoever, and Xpat and Justbendit had several punctures with their Tubliss systems. If you can afford it go mousses, but get decent ones. Heat is the only thing that destroys them, and the speeds you do in Koakoland you will never generate even nearly enough heat to screw with them. Mousses have gotten lots better over the years and modern ones are the best solution in my experience. It does feel different from tubes but you get used to it very quickly.

Couldn't agree more. ran Rally mousses front and rear and had a trouble free trip.

Bike nog nie terug by my nie, maar as ek reg onthou 35 ure?

Mapping op 1 gestel en res af. Daai varkie se oor het gewerk! ::)
