Nothing epic, just a nice relaxed trip with great riding, a few drinks and awesome scenery.
Left Melkbos on Saturday morning, over Du Toits Kloof for breakfast at the lodge, on to Ceres and from there to Oasis over Op Die Berg.
Watched the rugby at Oasis, dinner and drinks and stayed in one of their tents for the night.
Sunday morning after coffee a quick ride to Kromrivier with a tour of their very successful micro brewery (too early to taste, will have to go back for a weekend to this stunning setting)
From there back to Oasis for something cold to drink, then over Katbakkies and Skitterykloof to the Padstal
At Padstal we had lunch and a few drinks - skaapkoppe and skaapnekke on the menu.
It was rather busy there, team Superman (Kobus Potgieter) also stopping with a trailer full of :drif: bikes.
After a late lunch we headed to Die Mond for a quiet evening at the campfire.
Up rather early this morning, a quick coffee and then the long road back.
Of course, when the back wheel acts as if you are riding sand and there is no sand...
And that was that.
