It was tough ride, but a great one. Everybody was tired after a morning of challenging riding and after filling up at Ofcalaco for the umpteenth time, we spoiled ourselves with garage pies and Steri Stumpies

We started making our way towards Hoedspruit and rode through some beautiful scenery again. Game farms as far as the eye can see.......

We arrived at the beautiful Kusudelweni Lodge and Spa where Daryll and Maria saw to it that we soothed our aching bodies with a cold one.....

For the 4th night in a row, we ate like kings and enjoyed some great company

The title of this RR is a little misleading.......as click bait often tends to be. Obviously not everyone in the group is retired (I wish!)
Great bunch of capable riders that made this trip very enjoyable. Unfortunately Marc missed out on most of the trip due to bike trouble and his 950 was taken to Nelspruit on the back of [member=24722]malmens gerrit[/member] 's bakkie.

Yes, I agree, what a trip!!

And what a collection of great bikes, 2x 890 Rallies :thumleft: , 2x 701's and a T7!!!

Except for Mark's 950SE, no bike problems, zero [serious] injuries!

What a relief to hear that 890 Rally sound so healthy after the drowning! :thumleft:

There was still the small matter of getting back to Nelspruit the next day.....
I'm always keen on squeezing every last bit of riding out of a trip like this, so our route for the day would take us along some very nice tracks and spit us out on tar about 6km from Nelspruit. We had a lazy start to the day with a nice breakfast and the hopped on the bikes for our last day of riding.

We rode a variety of terrain on our way back. Everything from broad dirt highways, to sandy tweespoor, cattle tracks, rocks and everything in between.
