Mambat said I must go on ahead so long as I knew the route & that he would be with me shortly....... > > >
I turned right & twisted the throttle for quite a long section down the road...... & sure enough it wasn't long before I started to hear that "Distinctive Growl" of a prowling KTM coming up behind me. I moved over slightly, while looked over my shoulder, to let him pass......to which Mabmat signaled for me to keep on going. I figured he wanted to see if I had listened to the advice he'd share over the past 2 days : ;D
I continued to press on, with my "instructor" close on my tale,.... approaching each corner with a little caution, but also putting into practice all the various things Mambat had shared/advised me to do, in order to improve my riding & cornering. I did not want OT disappoint him,..... but there was this one section the road (+-80-100m long) where the nice hard surface instantly turned into a pretty loose "Sand Pit" (or so it felt like that to me atch: ;D). I had no option, but to "keep Standing up, keep Looking up & keep the Frikking Throttle WIDE OPEN"!!!!
Here are 2 screenshots of me hitting that sand,.... going from the LHS of the road to almost all the way over to the RHS, in a matter of seconds ;D ;D. I will truly honest here in saying that I got a little nervous for a while there & @ one stage I thought I could easily loose it here,.... BUT I pulled through & greatfull for that. :thumleft:
Thanks again Mambat for your tutoring & advice. I truly have learnt a lot & definitely feel more confident. :thumleft: :thumleft: I hope I didn't dissapoint you?? ;D
