next day I cleared the border into Zambia at the Zambizi pont ...forgot the name . A nightmare border Stay away much easier to go into Zim Near Kasane and then into Zambia at Vick falls . After battling at the border for three hours and ripped of by all sorts of officials I went on to Livingstone and booked into Jollyboys backpackers (don't be confused by the name). What a nice place It was so good ,I phoned my wife and told her to catch a plane to Livingston and continue the trip with me . She did but she had been on the back of my bike once in her life , from Grahamstown to PE .
After all I was missing the old bat , had not seen her in a while .She arrived three days later , and was picked up by jollyboys bus at the air port .

Buying second hand underware for my wife at the Livingstone market .

Some of you guys would have met Steven Armitage , He and a mate rode from the UK through Africa . I met them at Jollyboys .

A few days later we cleared the border at Vick falls and went into Zim on our way to Kasane Botswana . Good slow ride as I was getting used to a huge load plus a pillion who was a bit nervous . Riding into Kasane we saw a KTM coming towards us , so we did what normal dogs do , we stopped to smell each other . It was Satdiver another dog from our neck of the woods nogal , fro St Francis Bay . We all headed off to Chobe River Safaris to set up camp . WE were just in time to catch the boat trip up theChobe to check the animals out and to drink beer.
