The morning we left Keetmanshoop we were on a mission to get home . Left early , had coffee @ Vioolsdrif , cleared the border and headed for Springbok , Lunch and then back in the saddle to Klaver where we stayed on a friends Wine and tomato farm . Had good meat and good wine and good company for the night . Next morning we left for Cape Town via Lamberts Bay and took the back roads . We hit Cape Town on a Friday afternoon , hectic after drifting around in the desert for the last two weeks . Spent the weekend with our son and daughter in Vredehoek . They are students in Cape Town and they share a place .
Chilled in Cape Town , and left on sunday morning via Barrydale where we had lunch with Dan , a good mate who owns Karoo Saloon .

After lunch we headed via George to The Crags where we booked into Rocky Road Backpackers to spend the last night of our trip before going back to real life . Rocky Road Backpackers is a laid back place , very affordable well run and biker friendly . Popular so you are advised too book .
The next day we were home by lunch .
I did 10980 km on this trip and I saw the East coast and the West coast , must say I enjoyed the west coast better .... fewer people and the sea food tasted better .
Much enjoyed , and I did not plan anything just took my passport and went walk about on my bike after I left George .
George got back to Greece about 6 weeks ago after about four years on the road , he started in Mexico.
CANT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN

That was a lekker RR. You are so lucky to have a missus who joins you on the bike

Very cool RR.  :thumleft:

We met George in Ais Ais last year during our Nam trip. Great guy.  :ricky:
