The next day we left Kasane and rode through the Chobe national park to the top of the so called pan handle going into Caprivi strip . We cleared the border and rode onto Katimo malilo  ....A bit of a dump. we had lunch there . Rode onto Kangola and started looking for a place to sleep . Rode twenty kilos to a place we were told about and the place was closed for for some reason . The old fart would not even let us put a tent up on the property ,it was Kwando lodge ,  and it was getting dark .  we went back to the tar anh carried on looking and we decided to camp @Mazambala lodge camping ground  . We had to do about 5km on a thick sandy road , and as we arrived at the camp we wiped out badly in the sand . My wife was thrown off and she was OK , but my foot was twisted and stuck under the bike . My wife could not lift the bike off , but fortunately the watchman ran to her assistance. I thought my ankle was broken and I could not walk , so my wife booked us into the lodge a smart place run by a PE guy David De Lange and you had to get there by boat . So the boat fetched us and the watchmen kept an eye on the bike in the camping ground .
I swallowed a couple of cataphlam and my wife put my ankle on ice  and in the morning I could walk....just but I had lots more cataphlam ...lived on them for a few days .

Wifa a bit nervous of the mud .

WE rode on to Rundu and found a place to camp at  Kaisosi River Lodge . It had a nice deck overlooking the Okavango river and a good restaurant .
While having breakfast the next morning we watched the Angolans coming over to the Namibia  side in their makoras to work .

Next day we left and moved on to Tsumeb . I was aware that my front tyre was starting to wear badly on one half so I thought maybe I would go to Windhoek from Tsumeb and get a new one . Pleasant ride to Tsumeb where we booked into a resort as you enter the town (forget the name)  . I notice my front tyre is stuffed .  So the next day we decide to order a tyre from Windhoek and while it is on its way we will hire a car and go to Etosha and camp there until the tyre arrives . We go to Travel North Guesthouse and hire a car from them and while my wife is packing I go to The tyre place to see if they can organize a tyre from Windhoek . The guy gets on the phone and finds a TKC IN Grootfontein  50km away for R1200 a bargain it was brand new by the way. Ut any way we have booked a cage and we are off to Etosha Pan A few hours we were booking into Namatomi camping ground .

We left Solitare the next morning heading for Keetmanshoop . There was a lot of loose gravel on the road and I let my tyres down to one bar front and back . it helped a lot .
