Even though i am a 'snob' i did the Vlakvarkgat & Swallow Rallys last year. I initially went to find how the events are run. I did find them morbidly curious & will go back for more. Its pretty easy to check out beneath the veneer of buckles & badges who are the slightly classier riders.
I like to talk to different folks & meet their groups of mates. Its great comraderie & a great social leveller.
I do however want to actually ride my bike on the Saterday as i cannot drink all day like the rest.....i would be man down way to early ..... : ;D
