well let me tell you myside of the ride...
was in jbay for the weekend when i skeemed i was lus to join diffies ride..so i broke the news to the missues very gently that she had to be up at sparrows fart to get back to uitenhage to get the scoot. well i only got to uitenhage at 715 and we had to meet at paterson at 8..eisch it was gonna be tuff
anyway checked the oil, made my way to the nearest filling station and filled up ..and started for paterson via addo , it was a kak ride, thick mist all the way through addo, passed CFT's pozzie and thought coffee would have been lekka but i was hasty..
got to paterson as the ouens were kitting up..i was the 17th scoot..bliksem it was gonna be dusty :eek7:
anyway passed through alicedale and hooked a left on the highlands road on our way to grahamstown..the first few pics show the okes having a smoke break..
anyway get to the wimpy in grahamstown only to find that my tool tube and broken of with ALL my tools...levers, tyre repair kit alles. ??? as can be expected i was mar lekka bef....k...
so i waited for skaapkop who was the sweeper to see if he had found it....he tunes me "ja ek n pyp ding gesien ouboet, maar gedink die plaasboer het dit daar gegooi.." WTF skaapkop :spitcoffee:
anyway geensand,a true gentleman offerd to ride the 20km back to where we though it was with me, in case i got a flat...skaapkop was spot on where he thought he saw it see pic..tools were all over the road..no one had picked it up although we passed many vehicles and cyclists..good okes in grahamstown dont steal.. :3some:
after repacking geensand and myslef made our way back to grahamstown for a brekkie on me...after that we took the SALEM road to kenton on sea and ended up at a pub in bushmans for 2 quick drafts..we waited for a while and noticed the rest wern't getting to us..
we then made a call to slab it to alex and head home via karel landman, shamwari and paterson, had a coffee with the drol and made it home in one piece.. :biggrin:
