Must say Kobus, this Photobucket thing works a charm !
David just having a chilled ride. It's got to be said that David has some skill with the F800. During one time when we hit the sand and we were going slow, the sand monster came after him and I thought "whoops! Here he goes! He just kept cool, opened a bit and pulled the bike right out!" :thumleft:
I thought I'd taken a lot more photos than I actually did, so there's a good few jumps in between shots.
Our camp with Yvonne chillin on the bench.

Kobus, Tertius and one of the kids - great laaitjies you have Hoenderjie. I had a great time chatting to them.
My massive orange palace, just long enough for my head to touch one side, while my feet touched the other !
Very impressed with the bush shower ! Hot water in the bush, very niiice.
Petrol Time, with Nico on the left checking his wallet after playing ATM to help me out.
Off to the Holiday Inn for brekky! Like David said, this was probably my highlight of the whole day, very humbling because these folk have so little but try so hard to please. You could clearly see how nervous our "serving" lady was but she did a brilliant job!
African tradition of washing your hands at the table before eating.
Off to the clinic where Hoenderjie has decided to adopt and support the kids of the community!
A banner just for the Wilddogs :thumleft: and this wasn't the only time we were so welcome, everytime we rode past people in the street, we got a huge wave from everyone. Once on the return we had to stop bang in the middle of the "township" while the guys sorted out their GPS's. All the kids came charging toward us from 3 blocks away, just to have a quick look at what was going on !
Hoender doing his stuff
Jimmy the school / clinic head or school principal
.....just another meter to the left and Kobus would have been right in the kak :lol8:
The one regret I had was that we could not stay at each place much longer, we were just too pressed for time and of course, didn't want to drink (too much) and ride!
I got the idea that all the Shebeen owners were expecting us to kuir for longer.
Oh.. and the fact that they brought out the BEEEG speakers also helped us along a bit .
Another split...
