Dankie Jup, ja mens bou mos so 'n beeld van 'n Dawg op die forum op en dan is jy aangenaam verras as jy hulle ontmoet.  :imaposer:  Maar jy moet darem leer glimlag jong.

Was a really nice event. Great to meet new riders and meet up with the old ones. Well done Jupiter, and thanks for letting me chat to the guys about Amageza!  :thumleft:

Lekker okes , it was pretty good to wake up sober on both days . Made this year a quieter bash for myself and felt so much better , but yet had that niggling you let the drinking team down feeling .
Also the first time for Dirt Junkie and myself to sleep in the " pensioners corner " with Veldbrand and Footpeg se pa , We even had to pitch their tents . The old farts !

Next time for sure  :thumleft:
U getting soft now that u on a KTM

Let me explain then for all those that are so concerned that they never see me smile  The guy on the right is Watty. I don't recall ever seeing him smile but inside he had a heart of gold and one was poorer for not knowing him. He was a serious man and my mentor as a WD, and guide to organising bashes. It is serious business  :deal: So I thought that's how it is, but I'll try harder from now on  :3some:

To my shame I forgot the dedication to him on Saturday evening, but I'm sure he smiles on us now.  :thumleft:

Paar fodies ...

Hierdie paar was vir my bitter mooi gewees.

I knew Kobus fairly well , was a good client of mine . He also used to use our shop exterior lights at night to do sea worthy inspections on boats for the local angling clubs.
Wonderful guy who had the patience of Moses .

I saw Jup smile on Saturday night when the boys decided to rev their bikes while Jo was doing her speech , i think secretly he is  a reprobate like the rest of us . Dont worry Jup we understand you !! Boys will be Boys - some have to present themselves better for the greater good .  :thumleft:

Ja I saw Jup marching down to restore law and order   Bashes need a good camp kommandant  :imaposer:

Yes, I got hold of him on Saturday night with Chris's phone and he said he was at Uistpan @ Nico's place and I organized to meet him Sunday Morning @ 6, he was still a bit sick at the time but was OK to ride Home...
We Stopeed in Uitenhage @ about 10h15...

So I ended up riding out Solo and had an absolute blast ... my route was the Cockscomb road Steytlerville, Willowmore and in "the long way round" for some much needed "Helmet time".  :ricky:

The Cockscomb road was a little damp after a bit of rain ...  but most enjoyable ... no dust!!  ;)

After a stop at the Royal Hotel for a lite breakfast  and moving on to Willowmore for petrol .... GS Versus truck ... thank goodness the driver shared the road ..... :patch:

Looks like I'll be riding into some rain ........ my rain suit is at the bottom of the top-box  :xxbah:

A quick "Bum Break" as I entered the "Baviaanskloof Sleutel"

And then a few drops of rain came down .... but nothing to get excited about .....  ;)

There appeared to be very little water in the Kloof, must admit I was expecting a little more than this!! .....  :-\

Arrival after a great mornings ride ...  ;D

Thanks Jup for another well organized bash, also to the caterers and the farming community 10/10 for a wonderful weekend filled with laughter!!  :thumleft:

Innis and I took the long way around home and did the Kouga Loop. Been a while and I had forgotten how beautiful this piece of road is.

Found this one foto
