OK……..so Kurt wasn’t happy with me the next morning……..the bunk bed has a double bed at the bottom….and a single one on top. I obviously preferred his cause I moered off during the night on top of him. To make it worse I knocked a glass over that spilled on his pants so it has been a while since I had a kakout like that………but fully deserved!! Apologies again…….

After a moerse lekker brekka Kurt wanted to Debs test the new 1200 so we decided to go on the lekker open road to Fouriesburg.

We went back to the Bash site and I could sommer see Jup had a bee up his bonnet……….

And it wasn’t long before he packed up and left……fanks Partner…see you at the National Bash again

Ooooops…….5 minutes later he was back…..forgot something….he he….this time he leaves for real

What shall we do? Let’s go and visit the brewery

Not long and ‘n moerse klomp Honne joined and we had a relaxing afternoon drinking beer and chowing German sausages
Back to the Bash site to prepare for the big party and the live show that Rick arranged for us.

I must say everything was superbly organized and what a nice venue. The food was great and the booze cold and cheap.....and enough fires to keep us warm.

We had a lekker jol that evening all round....besides Kevin....not so sure (excuse the pun) what he did but he ended up in the fire and and had a very sore leg the next morning.

Even though I was just a "part timer" at this bash it was really lekka to see so many old buddies and to meet a whole bunch of new ones.

A big thanks to all the organizers - next year I bring the  bike !!

Kevin jumped onto the conca on the firepit to stomp the wood in deeper...then jumped back out, and hit a rock on the side of the pit....his ankle looked like it swallowed a tennis ball...please let us know if its broken or what the damage was?...carrots you are shortcutting the tumble from the bunkbed a bit..but hey....trying to exit thru the window which looked just like the door.... was also not one of your best moves.....
laban is so amazing , every bash there is a thoughtfull little gift..or a bell or something,- was wonderful to meet your wife sir....and Gunda Gunda....you have one very polite and kind son....was a treat to meet him also....and thank you for the fancy coffee.... :thumleft:

Ek en HennieS het 8 uur Vrydag oggend uit Lichtenburg gery. Ons is eers Potch toe waar ons JVR gekry het. Daarna Parys vir ontbyt en toe wat ons die grondpaaie tot in Bethlehem.  ;D  Ons het vir Kaptain in Clarens gekry, hy moes nog werk en het eers later uit Lichtenburg gery.

@ Debs...... :thumleft:.......it was a moer lekker ride there and on the way home with Laurika as well. Your smile after the Kestell stretch was priceless....those pebbles were entertaining to say the very least (almost like the mielie field)  but it prohibited me from enjoying the awesome scenery almost...he he...  :mwink:

BTW...who designed the Bash sticker.......I need to buy a BOF just so that I can put it on somewhere.......... eepwall: ot:
