Pro Tip #1
Make sure you have your RokStraps lying ready for use on the ground alongside your bike BEFORE mounting every last pannier, roll top bag and other luggage item.

Pro Tip #2
Look in the very bottom of the last bag you would've looked in to find them. The RokStraps WILL be there.

Pro Tip #3
Remain calm at all times. You are on holiday. There is nothing to be gained by getting worked up when you have to unpack Every. Single. Item. Out. Of. Every. Bag.

Smile and breath deeply.

:pot:

Eish Johan....you have a way with words in both languages that I envy.
You also clearly have the same need for solitude and wide open spaces that many of us have, but that relatively few answer.

Enjoy your trip.

You are going to enjoy the next two books in that Cormac McCarthy trilogy - entirely appropriate to the landscape you are riding in...

And the soundtrack to the movie is not too shabby either.

Thanks P.K. I'll write some of my RR in English when I'm back.

Ja, there is something about solitude and open spaces. A primal need for me.

No need for English boet....in fact I need to look back to the beginning of this report to see which language is used. It is of no consequence to me which is used...you are articulate in both and your commentary is great.

[emoji16]

Dit sous op Fraserburg. Veld staan al vol water. Ek is bitter bly vir die boere.
