Verskoning aan almal wat ek Sondag oggend mis gegroet het, ek byt maklik bietjie stang vas op die huistoe ry dag. Dit was regtig lekker om weer met almal te gesels en, soos met alle WD saamtrekke, het ek al weer moerse nice mense ontmoet. Verder het ek uitgevind dat ek en Hinksding hoogs compatible is op 'n biketrip, altyd 'n lekker fonds. Fanks bra.
Die terugtog was bietjie meer van 'n avontuur. Ons het gehoor dat die R355 die laaste tyd bietjie geniepsig is, so ou Hinksding reken toe ons moet teerpad om stoot. Ek het mos nou nie 'n flying sofa nie, so ek praat hom op die ou einde om om grondpad aan te durf. Nou ja, die skade was darem myne. Om 'n lang storie kort te maak, kos my 'n K60, sonbrand op die pan en ek haal toe eers voor ses huis.
Met die eerste papwiel se regmaak, trek Hinksding my hand weg toe ek die bom van die valve af wil haal... hierdie kêreltjie moes opgeklim het terwyl ons besig was! Ek dink dis 'n eiervreter of so iets onskadeliks, maar ek het hom maar met die tools weggejaag.

Stoetie ek het vanoggend met Dawie van die plaas gesels en die sê toe hy Sondag middag afry rivier toe, toe sien hy jy het so lekker gekuier op sy plaas dat jy selfs vir hom 'n bike gelos het as geskenk om dankie te sê.......LOLStoetbul said:

Friday morning my daughter and I left for Stellenbosch and as tradition would be with Pestilence (my bike) it rained then in the nice little pass before Oudshoorn, going into a right hand bend my right hand side aluminium box decided to fall off bringing us straight up, luckily we weren’t going into a left hand bend.
After what felt like forever on the tar, we arrived at Stellenbosch .That evening I received a call from Stoetie inviting us for a breakfast at the Calabash on the other side of Bainskloof pass and WOW what an awesome pass, it’s no wonder WC dogs tyres are always rounded.
Thank you Stoetie and the rest of your crew for taking us on a most awesome scenic ride and to the WC dog (sorry forgot your name, insert here) who took me for a small ride through the farm across the road. :thumleft:
At the Breede bash we met old friends and met new ones, thanks to Mof for having a chat to my daughter about the pros and cons of being a vet.
It was great meeting Rynet,she is one tall babe and great fun to have met Firecoast who secretly told us that she would like to adopt orphaned roosters, so if anyone has a rooster that they do not want send them to Firecoast.
Saying of the day that had me laughing “Crab you have lots to learn.”by Firecoast
Strangest thing heard at the bash “Jdog is not a bad person in the flesh”

We met plenty new friends at the bash; Fat B on Sunday morning was a bit worried as the sheep head he had eaten the previous evening was talking back to him.
The camping spot for the tents sucked as the cut reeds had dried and became a Japanese torture field which went through tents like butter. the lack of hot water well any water was the pits, missed the fruit but all the new friends helped to make an enjoyable stay not to be forgotten.
